A) Targets for three pathogens (Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Plasmodium malariae, and Salmonella typhimurium) in the presence of 10% EDTA Plasma and B) three different pathogens ( Staphylococcus Aureus, Plasmodium falciparum , and Epstein-Barr Virus) in the presence of 10% serum were amplified in a triplex reaction using lyophilized Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Blood (MDX322) ( red ), Roche KAPA Probe Force qPCR Master Mix ( green ), Thermofisher TaqPath ™ ProAmp ™ Multiplex Master Mix ( black ), or QuantaBio PerfeCTa ® MultiPlex qPCR ToughMix ( grey ). The results illustrate that Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Blood has higher multiplexing capabilities, greater inhibitor tolerance and better reproducibility than other suppliers’ inhibitor tolerant mixes across a range of pathogen types.
