A) Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Blood was used to amplify a 10-fold serial dilution of synthetic DNA target (10,000, 1,000, 100, 10, and 1 copy, respectively) in the presence of 20% Serum and B) Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP RNA/DNA qPCR Blood was used to amplify a 10-fold serial dilution of synthetic RNA target (10,000, 1,000, 100 and 10 copies, respectively) in the presence of 5% EDTA Blood, in liquid ( blue ) and lyophilized ( red ) format. The results illustrate that the lyophilized mixes maintain equivalent application efficiency as the liquid mix, with high sensitivity and reproducibility.

Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Saliva (MDX332) Mycobacterium tuberculosis Superior Multiplexing in Respiratory Diagnostics Adenovirus

Four respiratory pathogens ( Mycobacterium tuberculosis , Adenovirus, Cytomegalovirus and Mycoplasma pneumoniae ) were amplified in a quadruplex reaction in the presence of 30% artificial sputum using Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Saliva in lyophilized format ( red ) and compared to Quantabio ToughMix PCR Master Mix ( grey ), Promega GoTaq Enviro qPCR Master Mix ( orange ) and ThermoFisher TaqPath ™ ProAmp ™ Multiplex Master Mix ( black ). Results demonstrate that Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA qPCR Saliva has higher multiplexing capabilities, inhibitor tolerance and better reproducibility than other supplier’s qPCR mixes for respiratory targets.
