Glycerol-Free HS Tth DNA Polymerase (MDX205, red ) was lyophilized in Lyo-Ready ™ Tth Reaction Buffer and subsequently tested against HawkZ05 Fast Polymerase (Roche, green ) in A) a qPCR or B) an RT-qPCR reaction in the presence of mammalian DNA or RNA template. Results demonstrate that Glycerol-Free HS Tth DNA Polymerase has better performance and sensitivity than enzymes from other suppliers.

Glycerol-Free HS Tth DNA Polymerase (MDX205) was lyophilized ( red ) in Lyo-Ready ™ Tth Reaction Buffer and subsequently stored for 1 month at 37°C for accelerated stability studies. The enzyme was tested in triplex reactions with A) mammalian DNA or B) mammalian RNA against fresh liquid MDX205 ( blue ) stored at -20°C. Results suggest that the lyophilized mix is active following accelerated stability tests with projected 12 months stability at ambient temperature.
