Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) EGF is a growth factor that stimulates cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation by binding to its receptor EGFR. Dysregulation of EGF and mutations that lead to EGFR overexpression have been associated with a number of cancers, including lung, breast and anal cancers as well as glioblastoma multiforme. Disialoganglioside GD2
Disialoganglioside GD2 is a sialic-acid bearing glycolipid that is expressed on the surface of all mammalian cells. Studies have shown that they are important target antigens for antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity of human melanoma and neuroblastoma cells. The relatively tumor-specific expression of GD2 makes it a suitable target for immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies or with artificial T-cell receptors. Elastase is a serine proteinase and specifically the neutrophil form of Elastase is 218 amino acids long, with two asparagine- linked carbohydrate chains. It is secreted by neutrophils and macrophages during inflammation to destroy bacteria and host tissue.
